User Interface Design and User Experience
Job Description: Boston area startup developing a business to business SaaS application seeks a motivated, detail-oriented Human Factors student or recent graduate to provide the following:
- Help establish a world class user experience for business users
- Define consistency of style throughout user interface
- Ensure ease of use in UI for common business workflows related to buying and selling
- Assist developers with style-related issues
- Simplify, simplify, simplify
Required Background:
- Completed at least one year of studies in Human Factors
- Minimum three years experience in a business environment as a Systems Analyst or related position
- Experience creating wireframes and visual designs
- Personal experience with and interest in social networking
- Self-starter, be highly productive working independently
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, messaging of all types, and presentation
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, DreamWeaver
- UI Development experience in a Java environment a plus
