Research – Finding, Organizing, & Corralling Sources

Join recent MSHFID alumna C.B. Loeb as she discusses strategies for researching papers for your HF classes. Topics include: where to look for research, using Bentley library’s database, and organizing your data for easier retrieval and citation management. This workshop is particularly good for students taking HF 700 this semester.


Sketching & Ideation

Join RISD alumna, IDCC instructor, current MSHFID student, and hFIDO Member-at-Large Martha Ware for a workshop on sketching and ideation. Martha brings her illustration background to bear to help us understand the best ways to quickly convey our ideas.


Finding the Right UX Job

Join current MSHFID student and hFIDO President Susan Mercer along with a guest UX recruiter to discuss UX job roles available to graduates, what they mean, and who does what in our industry. Find out what roles are the best match for your skills and interests, and leave with some great job searching tips.
