The annual UPA Boston Conference is recruiting volunteers for the event, scheduled this year for May 25 at the Cambridge Hyatt. The volunteer responsibilities are pretty straight forward and most people who do it have a great time.
People who are accepted as volunteers will be given a schedule for their responsibilities prior to arriving at the conference. Roughly 50% of their time is taken up with volunteer tasks some of which is at the registration table and some of which is as ‘helping hands’ in sessions.
Registration fees are waived for volunteers and they are welcome to participate in all aspects of the conference when they are not performing their duties.
If you are interested, please contact Cay at cay_lodine@yahoo.com and she will get right back to you. We do accept people on a first come/first serve basis so interested students should probably take action pretty quickly
If people would like additional information on the conference itself, the can visit http://www.upaboston.org/miniconf11/index.shtml
