Great Tutorials for Creating Images

• Photoshop Star
• Adobe’s Current Tutorials
  These tend to focus on the newest advances of Adobe’s latest version. The Media Lab has CS4 and Adobe’s site promotes CS5.
• Good Beginner Illustrator Tutorial
  I often build in Illustrator, pulling in images from Photoshop when I need to. Illustrator creates vector work which has the advantage of being scalable.

Portfolio Sites

• Coroflot
  The portfolio website created by Core77, Industrial Design Magazine and Resource.
• Yola
  Found out about this one asking a Media Arts student what he used.
• WordPress
  Always a good backup. Check around there for others using it as a portfolio presentation. It’s not bad.
• Dropr
  Now in beta for the public, and an interesting option.
