Petition to “walk” at Commencement by March 23

If you’re taking your final course(s) in Summer 2011, you may be eligible to walk in the Commencement ceremony on May 21st. Be sure to submit your petition to walk by March 23rd. Follow the instructions at the link below or contact the HFID academic advisor, Colleen Murphy at cmurphy@bentley.edu for more info.

At the ceremony, walkers receive a diploma holder, but without anything inside :)

Survey Results and Upcoming Events

Thank you to all who participated in the HFIDO survey, and congratulations to the winners of the HFIDO t-shirts! The identity of all 5 winners were announced on the blog and each has been notified via e-mail. We really appreciate everyone’s input and are working on putting together the following events and activities based on your feedback. Here are just some of the activities we have in the works:

  • Friday Night Social – the first one is this Friday, March 4!
  • Field trip to a usability lab at the end of March/early April.
  • Workshop series in April (writing & research tips & tricks, ideation sketching, and others TBA)
  • Peer mentorship program
  • Alumni panel discussion

As we firm up details, we’ll send announcements and update our event calendar.
