Joanna is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Marketing Analytics at Bentley University with solid experience in social media marketing. She is also a Business Analytics Certificate candidate. Through her passion and hard work, she was able to intern for Louis Vuitton and VienneMilano. In order to purse a Business Analytics career path, she has passed the SAS Base Certificate and is currently working on an SQL Certificate. In addition, she is now interning for IDC (International Data Corporation) and works as a Department Assistant in the Center for Marketing Technology at Bentley University. She is passionate about fashion and traveling. Additional strengths include quick adaptation to different environments and strong multicultural skills, which developed from long-term stays in Taiwan, China, Germany, and USA.

Amrita Aviyente is a Research Associate at the Design and Usability Center. Prior to joining the HFID program, Amrita worked for over 7 years as a software engineer in the financial services industry. She has experience with end-to-end product development with specialization in data analysis, design and development. Amrita is an avid Agile practitioner.
Amrita holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Bentley University. Amrita’s passion for design/art made her join SMFA in 2011 followed by RISD as a Graphic Design certificate student. She is currently pursuing her MS in Human Factors in Information Design at Bentley University.

From the island-nation of Mauritius, Lina obtained her undergraduate degree in Economics and Chemistry at Bates College. After working for two years as a research assistant in evidence-based medicine, she is starting a new career by pursuing her Master of Science in Accountancy at Bentley University. Lina hopes to work as a public accountant after graduation. She is an active member of the Graduate Accounting Association and is also involved in “The Conversation Partners” program. She enjoys meeting people, learning about new cultures, and traveling.

Jiyan joined GWLO in February 2012. Her responsibilities for the organization include initiating event proposals, overseeing event progress, and collecting feedback after our events in order to provide students with more positive event experiences. Currently Jiyan is pursuing her Master of Science in Information Technology and working in the Finance Department of Bentley as a Department Assistant. She has passed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I and II exams. During her spare time, she likes reading and practicing Yoga. In addition, she enjoys a variety of different foods and loves hanging out with friends.

Jane received two bachelor degrees from Purdue University in May 2012, where she studied Accounting and Management. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accountancy degree at Bentley University. With interest in public accounting, Jane plans to take the CPA exam before her graduation in August 2013 and then launch her career by working for a public accounting firm.

After she received her bachelor’s degree in Accountancy in China, Ada continues to pursue a Master of Science in Accountancy degree from Bentley. She plans to accomplish her MSA program in two years and then to pass the CPA exam. After graduation, she hopes to gains some accounting related work experience then go back to China to start her career in her hometown. Her hobbies are traveling and discovering fancy restaurants with delicious food.

Elle is new to Bentley University, where she is pursuing a Master of Science in Accountancy degree. Her family originally came from Shanghai, China; and currently live in New Hampshire. Elle works part-time in a fast growing global food import and export company. After graduation, she would like to work as an auditor due to her multicultural work experience, background, and personal interest. Elle hopes to have a rich campus life, including professional skill enhancement and networking opportunities.

Through hard work and dedication, Annalise received both her bachelor’s degree in Accountancy as well as her MBA with a concentration in International Business from the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth then a Master of Science in Taxation degree and a Certificate in Advanced Studies in Financial Planning from Bentley University. She currently works full time for her family’s business in addition to doing the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic here at Bentley. Upon conferral of her education, Annalise hopes to pass the CPA, CFP, and CFA exams and eventually work for one of the big four accounting firms. She also one day desires to attend law school in addition to earning a PhD in Accountancy and Management.
